Glyphs
We can customise our off-the-shelf typefaces to make them unique to your project by offering alternative glyphs. This might be as simple as replacing a double-storey ‘a’ with a single-storey ‘a’ for instance, but depending on your needs, this can extend to developing bespoke ligatures or entirely new numeral sets.
Interpolation
Our team can generate unique styles by interpolating between two master designs.
Each master is meticulously refined for seamless transitions, allowing us to create new masters for heavier weights, different widths, and custom axes. We can also produce variable fonts for maximum control over your typographic style.
Kerning & Metrics
Correct letter spacing is crucial for a well-functioning font. We optically adjust the spacing between letters to ensure they appear evenly distributed. Adjustments can be made to the metrics of our off-the-shelf typefaces, allowing for tighter or looser spacing to align with your brand guidelines.
OpenType
OpenType features expand a font’s capabilities, offering various styles and functions.
Our off-the-shelf typefaces include essential features such as ligatures and
case-sensitive forms, and we can add additional options, such as contextual and
stylistic alternates, upon request.
Language
All of our typefaces support all major Latin languages. We can also produce language support for Cyrillic, Greek, Hangul, Arabic, and Hebrew scripts. For global clients we provide a consultancy service for pairing our typefaces with CJK (Chinese, Japanese,
and Korean) typefaces for universal use.
Modification
Whether you need a fully bespoke uppercase glyph set or prefer round dots instead
of squares, we can modify any of our off-the-shelf typefaces. This approach is often more efficient for clients seeking quick turnarounds or working within tight budgets while still desiring a unique touch.
